Before 1 year, they are somewhat responsive to colors, but it is after 2 years of age that they start to show strong responses toward colors they like. 2~3 yearsAt this stage, muscular motion and coordination ability are established and colors only play a secondary role. The most important role of colors is to help distinguish drawing paper and drawing. Hence, it is important to choose colors and mediums that contrast to each other.
