Sluggish poorly-balanced battles spoil the fun Sluggish poorly-balanced battles spoil the funI have to concur with some reviewers here that the badly-paced and overtly difficult battles make this game too frustrating to play for long (About 80% of your attacks will miss your opponent! How is that fun?!) Less random encounters and more healing options would also help.

Best rpg on Play Best rpg on PlayQuite clearly a labour of love for the developer. This is as original and deep a rpg as the play store has to offer and offers a staggering amount of content for the cost. I had some difficulty with the game crashing, sent an email to the dev and had a helpful response within 24 hours. Nice one.

A Great Game with Horrible Balance A Great Game with Horrible BalanceThis is honestly one of the best Android rpgs I've played. Using the Oregon Trail-style exploration make this both unique and nostalgic at the same time. The story is decent. It's not on the level of epics like Final Fantasy or Dragon Age, but it has some good moments and fun character interactions. I would honestly give it 5 stars if not for the awful balancing issues. During the course of 5 minutes, it's quite common to fight a random battle you barely succeed in winning (nothing wrong there), followed immediately by a battle you win with not rouble whatsoever (again, not a problem), followed immediately with a battle against foes who decimate your party without your team making a scratch(not cool at all). You can restart any battle to try different tactics, but in far too many cases, these random battles are impossible to win, forcing you to reload your last save file and losing up to a half hour of gameplay if you're not diligent in saving. Saving often is a necessity. I still highly recommend this, but the awful pacing takes away from an otherwise awesome game.
