Wee Tweet: Twitter for Kids

Wee Tweet is a free app that provides limited access to Twitter. It's perfect for younger users that are eager to have a social networking presence, but aren't quite ready for all the associated risks. Wee Tweet allows kids to view their timeline and post tweets. Your child can also mark tweets as favorites and see the favorite count on individual tweets. To keep the circle of influence constrained to only what the parent chooses, Wee Tweet will not allow the viewing of profiles or the timelines of other users. Parents can manage their child's account through the Twitter website, deciding who their child can follow and who can follow their child.Tips for parents:- Perform account administration (including account creation) from the Twitter website.- In Twitter's account settings, select 'Protect my Tweets'. This will make it so users will need to be granted access before being able to view any of your child's Tweets.- Profile pics are public and can be seen by anyone, so be careful about what picture you use.
